EEE Catalogue Web Implementation

Welcome to the EEE Catalogue

The EEE Catalogue aims at collecting in a standard way all the information regarding the effects induced by paleo, historical and modern earthquakes on natural environment (Earthquake Environmental Effects).
The catalogue is compiled at global level in the frame of the #0811 INQUA TERPRO Project "A global catalogue of Earthquake Environmental Effects".

For each earthquake you will find information at different level of generalization:
• at earthquake level you will find general information about the seismic event including essential seismological parameters, the extent of surface faulting and total area covered by EEE, epicentral intensity assessments based on damage distribution and/ or on environmental effects (ESI 2007 intensity scale).
• at locality level you will find information about the locality where an ESI local intensity assessment is available.
• at site level you will find detailed information about the environmental effect, including its original description, classification, major characteristics and size, references and, when available, even a picture.

The location of epicentre, localities and sites can be also view on the Google Map. Moreover, all records can be also printed and exported to be plotted on your GIS.

If you wish to collaborate to the EEE Catalogue implementation through a web interface , please register and contact the Scientific Secretary providing the list of earthquakes you are going to compile. More details are in the guidelines .
